A festival for love and change
/ˌriːˈlʌv.juː.ʃən/ also written: re·LOVE·u·tion — A revolution of love. A bottom-up movement rooted in compassion, empathy, and human connection, aimed at transforming individuals and communities by centring love as a guiding force. A conscious shift away from systems driven by fear, scarcity, and division — toward care, abundance, and collective healing.
Phase 1. The Nuance of Life
7th - 10th of August Grums, Värmland
This is for you if —
You sense that something in the world needs to change, and you're not waiting for someone at the top to do it.
You're drawn to connection that goes deeper than small talk. You can hold complexity — you know life isn't black and white, and you're tired of spaces that pretend it is.
You might be new to this kind of gathering, or you might have been looking for exactly this for years. Either way, you belong here.
Why this festival exists
We are Swan, Devansh, Vilja, and Iury (in order from the left) and we believe the world needs more love. Not the sexual kind or that we all need to be in relationship with each other, rather the kind of love that sees each person as a human and brings us together as people. The one that gives space to be ourselves, not perform according to the labels that are attached to us.
We want to celebrate life, and life exists in nuance.
We live in a time of noise, speed, and increasing distance from each other and ourselves. Polarisation is rising. Nuance is disappearing. And yet most of us, when we slow down enough, want the same things — to be seen, to belong, to matter, to contribute to something real.
reLOVEution is our answer to that. We are creating a lived experience of what's possible when people show up with openness and genuine curiosity toward each other.
What will happen
Over our four days in Värmland we'll move through workshops, talks, embodiment practices, shared meals, swimming, sauna, music, and a lot of unscheduled time together. You will see the intentional scheduling of playtime—just to inspire you to play around and be creative. See what you might come up with.
ReLOVEution is held with a social impact perspective — meaning we're not just here to feel good, we're also here to understand ourselves and each other more honestly, and to take our learnings forward, inspire action. Still with a lot of fun and play!
We are using OpenCollective for crowdfunding our festival through selling tickets, so you will be redirected to an external page with all ticketing information.
We will hold the festival if we reach min 70% of our total goal, to fund the hours and expenses needed to put this together.
OBS! The festival pass does NOT cover accommodation. To have accommodation, purchase a separate lodging pass.
Find more information on how to eg. volunteer and see the full program and available accommodation options below.
Why make reLOVEution happen?
We live in a time of growing noise and shrinking depth. We are more connected than ever, and lonelier than ever. Polarisation is rising. Nuance — the thing that makes genuine meeting possible — is disappearing.
And yet most of us, when we slow down enough, want the same things: to be seen, to belong, to contribute to something real. What's missing is the space and framework to make that happen.
reLOVEution is that space. We are creating space to practice the world we want to live in — where people show up as full human beings rather than their roles, opinions, or labels. Where curiosity replaces performance. Where bridging differences isn't a concept but a lived experience.
We need it as a community because shared space is where trust is actually built in a room, around a fire, at a shared table.
We need it as a society because transformation doesn't trickle down from the top. It grows from the ground up, between people who chose to show up differently.
We need a reLOVEution to start practicing the change we want to see, and have a space where our vision and actions can take root.
Bring comfortable clothes, your whole self, and some willingness to be surprised.

Become a volunteer
in exchange for around 8 hours of practical support across the festival days. You'll have full access to everything: all workshops, meals, and accommodation in the shared Qigong barn.
Your contribution will look like helping with breakfast and dinner preparation, cleaning shared spaces, taking care of the kitchen after meals, and generally holding the space alongside the team. Tasks rotate between volunteers, so no one carries the same load all the time.
You are not here just to work — you are here to participate. Most workshop sessions are open to you, and the schedule is designed so you have real time to be part of the experience, not just support it.
What's included: full festival program, all meals, accommodation, and a community that's genuinely glad you're there.
We ask that you bring initiative, clear communication, and a willingness to stay flexible. If something feels unclear, check in with the team — that's what we're there for.
Sign up before July 1st [find the volunteer ticket on the crowdfunding page].
We'll follow up with your schedule and any practical details you need.
This is Phase 1 — Nuance.
We're starting with 20(ish) people for three nights in the Swedish forest.
And we're starting with nuance — because nuance is the foundation of everything we want to build here. Nuance is where life happens. It's what opens up the space for bridging differences, for actually coming together across the things that usually keep us apart.
Without nuance we stay in our separate minds, our separate groups, our separate spaces. We talk to people who already think like us. We stop being curious about the rest.
Love is nuanced. So let's open ourselves up.

Is this for you?
If you've never done anything like this before — you're welcome. This isn't an insider space. We want people to be diverse and different here.
If you're coming alone — good. There will be others who come alone, or arrive not knowing anyone else.
What's the vibe? Warm, real, playful, a little wild, a little quiet — anything we make it into really. No dress code, no performance, no right way to be.
It’s going to be messy, magnificently human.
